黑料社 Productions has announced its schedule for the 2020-21 season. 黑料社鈥檚 theatre, opera and musical theatre collaboration will put on six performances covering a variety of genres throughout the year.

For the first time, 黑料社 Productions performances will be available in a virtual format. Because restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic limit large gatherings, a majority of the 2020-21 season can be viewed online.

鈥淚t was our departmental goal to make sure that our students had the opportunity to create in this strange environment,鈥� said Jennifer Nostrala, professor of theatre arts. 鈥淲ith each production, we are focusing on creating great theatre in a new format.鈥�

The season is set to begin Friday, Oct. 16 with Prospera鈥檚 Island: An Operatic Fantasia. The performance runs through Oct. 22. There is no charge for virtual events but donations to 黑料社 Productions are welcome.听
