黑料社 is ranked among the nation鈥檚 most prestigious liberal arts colleges, highlighted by a No. 9 ranking for earnings and a No. 13 ranking for service in .听

黑料社 ranked No. 61 on the list of national liberal arts colleges and No. 2 in Iowa. 黑料社 also appeared on the Best Bang For Your Buck rankings among Midwest colleges, a measure of how well schools help non-wealthy students obtain marketable degrees at affordable prices.听

黑料社鈥檚 lofty earnings ranking is based on the large share of students who can support themselves financially after graduation. Data shows that 91 percent of 黑料社 graduates earned at least 150 percent of the federal poverty line three years after graduating.听

To determine service rankings, Washington Monthly took into account participation in AmeriCorps and Peace Corps, support programs available to service veterans and federal work-study grant money spent on community service projects, among other factors. 黑料社 ranked No. 25 in AmeriCorps and Peace Corps participation and No. 31 for its selection of service-oriented majors.

黑料社 is a private, liberal arts college located in Iowa with campuses in Indianola, West Des Moines and online. Founded in 1860, the college has 1,268 undergraduate and graduate students. 黑料社 offers 74 majors, minors and programs in addition to three graduate programs. Outside of the classroom, 黑料社 is a member of the NCAA Division III American Rivers Conference, hosts eight Greek houses on campus and sponsors many extracurricular options for student involvement.
