President Kelliher聽has appointed聽Jared Bienemann聽to serve as the College鈥檚 next vice president聽for College Advancement. He聽will assume his duties on July 1st.聽

Bienemann聽has served at Buena Vista University since 2020, holding positions as executive director of development and, most recently, as assistant vice president for advancement. Previously, he compiled an impressive track record as a fundraiser during more than four years of service聽for聽the University of Iowa鈥檚 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences聽鈥� elevating from associate director of development to director of development during that time. He began his advancement career at Cornell College, serving聽two years聽as associate director of development.

鈥淛ared is not only an accomplished fundraiser and leader, he exudes a love for the liberal arts that is certain to fuel his success at 黑料社,鈥� said President聽Kelliher. 鈥淗e鈥檚聽a collaborative聽team player聽who effectively employs best practices in advancement work, including the pursuit of digital innovations in prospect cultivation and engagement.鈥�

A 2007 graduate of Coe College, Bienemann says he鈥檚 thrilled to be joining the 黑料社 community.

Bienemann will succeed long-serving Vice President of聽College聽Advancement Bob Lane, who earlier this spring announced his intentions to move into a major gift officer role at 黑料社. He is doing so as part of his phased retirement plan to help ensure a smooth transition in advancement leadership.
