Placing Things in God鈥檚 Hands
Tyler Kamerman 鈥�00 has always been ambitious, always seeking new challenges. He鈥檚 held numerous positions in sales and financial services, and he鈥檚 an in-demand voice over and on-camera talent. He even has his own podcast, 鈥淧ursuing Your Passion.鈥�
Kamerman鈥檚 current passion is serving as chief development officer for Many Hands 鈥� a faith-based international nonprofit with a local focus through its Many Hands Thrift Markets. Actually, his passion found him.
鈥淭his wasn鈥檛 something I was looking for,鈥� said Kamerman. 鈥淭he founder/CEO of Many Hands and I interned together at Pella Corp. 25 years ago and we鈥檝e always stayed in touch. He threw me a curveball [this position offer] in 2022 and I really felt this was where God was leading me.鈥�
Kamerman partners with businesses, organizations, churches and individuals to raise funds in support of Many Hands. Their goal is to 鈥渂reak the generational chains of poverty鈥� while fostering education, leadership development, economic development, medical assistance and more 鈥� all wrapped in spiritual development.
鈥淓very job that I鈥檝e had has better prepared me for the work I do today,鈥� said Kamerman. 鈥淭he people of Haiti need our help, and I鈥檓 excited about the challenge of growing our donor base exponentially over the next few years to help bring lasting change.鈥�
