Harold Lloyd was one of the more famous silent film stars 鈥 and the highest paid 鈥 during the 1920鈥檚. He was considered to be the first screen actor to use physical danger as a source of laughter. His comedic stunts rivaled those of Buster Keaton. In Safety Last!\, Harold Lloyd plays an ambitious young sales clerk who wants to impress his boss with a spectacular stunt to bring more costumers to the department store. He enlists the help of his friend (Bill Strother)\, a high-heights worker\, who is always ready for an adventure. This adventure does not unfold according to plan.
